Two-Man Jobs

A two-man job is any job that requires two technicians — a primary tech and a helper. GlassFlow tracks both techs and their pay separately on the same job record.

Setting Up a Two-Man Job

When creating or editing a job, check the Is Two-Man box. A second technician dropdown will appear — select the helper tech from your team.

Each technician gets their own job number:

  • The primary tech gets the main job number
  • The helper gets the helper job number

Pay on Two-Man Jobs

In the Financial section (admins only), you'll see separate pay fields for both techs:

  • Pay amount — primary tech's earnings for the job
  • Helper pay amount — helper tech's earnings for the job
  • ADAS pay / Helper ADAS pay — if the job includes ADAS calibration, each tech's ADAS pay is tracked separately too

Both amounts show up independently on the Payroll page under each technician's summary.

Scheduling a Two-Man Job

The job appears on the schedule for both the primary tech and the helper. Both techs can see the job from their respective views.

Tips

  • The helper must be a different person than the primary tech — the app won't let you assign the same person to both roles
  • You can change the helper tech later by editing the job
  • If you're using per-job pay mode, make sure to set both pay amounts — they don't default to any value
