Setting Up Your Account
After signing up, GlassFlow walks you through a quick 3-step setup wizard. You can complete it fully or skip any step and come back later.
Step 1 — Add Your Team
Set your shop's pay mode (you can always change this later):
- Per-job pay — each technician earns a fixed amount per completed job
- Hourly pay — technicians clock in and out; earnings are based on hours worked
Then add your technicians. For each person you'll enter their name, email, and — if you chose hourly pay — their hourly rate. Choose how to create their account:
- Send an invite — they'll receive an email with a signup link and create their own password
- Direct create — you set a temporary password (8+ characters) and give it to them directly
You can add as many technicians as your plan allows. Your plan limit is shown at the top of the step.
Skip option: Click "Skip for now" if you want to add team members later from Account Settings.
Step 2 — Add Inventory Locations
Create named storage locations for your parts — for example, "Tech Van — Mike", "Main Shop Rack", or "Delivery Truck".
Locations are used to track which parts are where and to automatically deduct parts from the right van when a job is completed.
Skip option: You can add locations later from the Inventory page.
Step 3 — Done
Your workspace is ready. The app will take you to your dashboard.
You can manage team members at any time from Account Settings and inventory locations from the Inventory page.
