Managing Account Settings
Account Settings controls profile updates plus tenant-level operational settings for admins.
Profile Basics
All users can:
- Update their phone number.
- Change their password.
Admin Settings
Admins can manage additional settings that affect the entire active tenant.
SMS Notifications
- Admins can enable or disable tenant SMS automation from Account Settings.
- In demo/trial mode, SMS controls are read-only.
Public Shop Name
- Admins can set a public shop name used in customer-facing communication branding.
- If not set, the tenant name is used as the default brand label.
Admin Doing Field Work
- Admins can toggle whether they participate in field-work flows.
- When enabled, the admin can appear in assignable technician-style selectors (for example, inventory location assignment and schedule-based tech views).
- Admin field-work eligibility is tenant-scoped.
Technician Hourly Rates (Hourly Pay Mode)
- In hourly pay mode, admins can set or update each technician's hourly rate.
- Hourly rates are stored per technician and used by time-clock payroll calculations.
Tablet Dashboard Preference (Technician)
On supported tablet-sized devices, technicians can choose between dashboard tab layout modes in Account Settings.
Demo Mode Notes
When the active tenant is in demo/trial mode, certain write operations are intentionally restricted in settings and related pages.
