ADAS Calibration Jobs

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems — the sensors and cameras built into modern vehicles that manage features like lane departure warnings, automatic braking, and blind spot monitoring. When a windshield is replaced, these systems often need to be recalibrated.

Marking a Job as ADAS

When creating or editing a job, check ADAS Required. You'll then select the calibration type:

Type

What it means

Static

Calibration done in-shop using physical targets

Dynamic

Calibration done by driving the vehicle at speed

Both

Both static and dynamic required

Unknown

Type to be determined on-site

If you're not sure upfront, select Unknown and update it after the tech assesses the vehicle.

ADAS Pay

ADAS work is compensated separately from the base job. In the Financial section (admins only), you'll find:

  • ADAS cost — what you're charging for the calibration
  • ADAS pay amount — what the primary tech earns for the ADAS work
  • Helper ADAS pay amount — what the helper earns (two-man jobs only)

These amounts appear as separate line items on the Payroll page.

Multi-Vehicle Jobs with ADAS

If you're working on multiple vehicles in a single job, each vehicle has its own ADAS flag and type. Set them independently for each vehicle in the Multi-Vehicle section.
